Our Pontins Weekender 2018 is going to be the ultimate summer cheer and dance holiday!
ICE Events brings you a whole weekend of cheerleading and dance at Pontins Prestatyn Sands from just £69.
We’ll have our usual high standard of professionally judged competitions in Cheerleading, Group Stunt, Pom Dance, Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary, team and solos. We welcome everyone regardless of ability or competitive experience, and we pride ourselves on delivering an incredible atmosphere at our events. We believe it is an achievement to get a team on to the floor, and so every team receives a trophy and every team member a medal. Together we celebrate everyone’s progression and achievement.
This year we’ll also have the Nationals Team Challenge, as well as the crowning of the ICE Queen/King in the Grand Final of the national heats. Also new for 2018 is the ICE Red Carpet Award ceremony, where we’ll collect nominations from programme directors to award your team members for excellent achievement in a variety of categories.
Over the weekend, there’ll be inspirational appearances and guest workshops from stars of cheer and dance – and you can attend as many as you can fit in for no extra charge. Your entrance fee also allows you to make use of the park’s attractions, including: swimming, children’s parks and soft play area. And there’ll be nightly entertainment from ICE Events, so it’s fun for all the family.
Teams and individual competitors are free to arrive and leave whenever they like. It’ll be a great opportunity for established teams to do some bonding, and we’ll also offer continued professional development (CPD) courses for coaches. But you don’t have to be part of a team to come along: we welcome solo entries and there are loads of workshops for solo performers. It’ll be a weekend of improving performances and knowledge, team building and bonding – and forming life-long friendships!
Tickets include 3 nights accommodation and access to all of the workshops, competitions and onsite facilities from £89 for competitors and just £69 for spectators (plus parents compete for free!).
